Shit happens..

Its a long time ago that we posted on our blog. The main reasons are probably that we got even more lazy then ever before, enjoyed our trip and because i needed some time to recover.
It was one week ago on friday, 24th of May.
We just came back from our 2days Colca Canyon Trip, which was amazing! We've been such a crazy group, and the view of the Canyon! so beautiful :)
Back in Arequipa we needed money so we went to the ATM at McDonalds.
We've been very tired because of the trekking, so we sat down at McDonalds for a while. And in a moment of carelessness someone took my backpack with all my Camera stuff and my Passport inside.. it took me a view seconds to recognize, then we ran around on the streets searching, but no sign of my backpack :/
So the next days were very depressing for me, with all my photos/videos of the last 2 weeks, the camera and the passport gone.
But i had a real adventure when we were arguing with the police, inspecting the crime scene and searching for my stolen passport and camera on dubious places.
Still my stuff is gone and my talk with the embassy brought even more bad news.
First i need an Emergency Passport, therefore i have to go back to Lima and wait for 3 days before i'll get one.
But with this one i cant travel to Philipines, Malaysia and India.
And for USA i need a Visa (not just the quick online ESTA)
For a new Passport i have to fly back to Austria..
so maybe my Trip ends here,
for now..
